PASSES AND PROMOS
We’ve got a special deal for returning campers! If you bought a festival pass in 2023, you can snag your Pass for our cheapest deal yet. From now through the end of the year, returning campers can score passes for only $149.
Want to skip the line entirely for every single festival screening and event? You’ll want our fancy new FINAL GIRL PASS. We are selling an extremely limited number of these so if you want one jump on our sale of $499 through Jan. 31st ($749 after that if any are left) and you can slow zombie walk through the fest like a VIP to all your first choice showtimes.
Our Festival pass is now the CAMPER PASS and will grant its wearers access to all screenings (including opening, closing and centerpiece) as well as all events, panels, podcasts, parties and live shows, as well as advance registration options for immersive programming. For cheapest pass options, take advantage of our SPOOKY SEASON PROMO where new passes can be purchased for $199 through Halloween. Our Earlybird slasher promo will have Camper passes available for $249 until January 31st.
Immersive Theater Experiences will once again be exclusively individually ticketed events, requiring a separate purchase, although pass holders will have early access to time slots. Experiences will be announced in early spring and prices for each may vary depending on length and scope of each show.

THEATERS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
We are proud to welcome longtime friends and host venue The Prytania Theatres to the Overlook family as producing partners of the festival this year.
They’ll be working closely with the Overlook staff on theater operations, tech and events. This year, the festival will see improvements in projection, line management, and oh yes, more food options at the Fest HQ!
We’ve also redesigned our queueing systems for our venues, vastly improving navigation around the theatre and will be instituting cue cards to allow for less time waiting in line between screenings. A full breakdown of new how to fest policies will be available in the spring.
PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
The full lineup will be released in the spring, but we’re ecstatic to welcome back The Academy of Magical Arts to the festival with all new shows, secrets and surprises.
And of course our good friends at Super Yaki will be here with all new merch for your shopping pleasure.
Overlook’s signature live events and immersive theater selections will be back in full force. However, The 2024 festival will NOT feature an Alternate Reality Game in the traditional sense that regular players may have come to expect.
Instead, past participants and newcomers alike will want to explore the curated individual immersive experiences, which will be announced with the full festival lineup. Hallmarks of the ARG experience included in many past editions of the festival, such as puzzles, one-on-ones, and sustained character interaction will be found within these individual showcases as well as throughout the rest of the festival program. These experiences are open to all no matter your level of immersive experience.
Finally, The Overlook will again feature a local BONUS DAY with additional screenings of select films on Monday, April 8th for those working through the weekend and unable to enjoy the festival offerings until then. All Pass holders will be eligible for these screenings.
Our box office, most film screenings, panels, and live shows will be held at our Festival Headquarters, the Prytania Theatres At Canal Place at the edge of the French Quarter. Additional screenings will take place at the Historic Prytania Theatre Uptown, a 100 + year old institution with the distinction of being the longest continually operated theater in the south.
