HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION FOR A SCREENING WITH MY PASS?
First, make sure you are logged into Eventive with the account that you used to purchase the pass. The login button can be accessed in the top right corner of https://overlook2026.eventive.org
***If you have not yet set up a log in with Eventive, refer to your pass confirmation email for instructions.
Once logged in, navigate to the screening you’d like to book from the schedule page and press the RESERVE TICKETS button. Here, you’ll find the option to quick order 1 ticket using your pass. Follow the prompts from there to book your $0 ticket.
You can access your reservations from the left-side menu under My Tickets.
HOW WILL RESERVATIONS WORK?
Passholders will have an exclusive 72 hour window to reserve a spot at a specific screening of their choosing before tickets go on sale to the public. A reservation guarantees them a seat as long as they arrive no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the screening.
Final Girl Passholders are able to reserve for every available screening slot, one film per slot. Camper Passholders have the ability to make two reservations per day (for a total of eight throughout the festival).
Final Girl Passholders will have the opportunity to make their selections first. Camper Passholders will make their selections next. Then individual tickets will go on sale to the public.
Both Final Girl and Camper Passholders are able to make reservations after their exclusive windows have passed as long as the screening has not sold out.
WHAT DATES ARE THE RESERVATION WINDOWS?
- March 25, 2026 Final Girl Passholder reservation window opens at 12PM CT
- March 28, 2026 Camper Passholder reservation window opens at 12PM CT
- March 31, 2026 Individual tickets go on sale to general public at 12PM CT
I’M TRYING TO RSVP FOR A SCREENING, BUT THERE ARE NO MORE SPOTS AVAILABLE? DOES THIS MEAN I CAN’T SEE THE FILM?
Not at all! There will be a Passholder Walk-Up Line for passholders who do not have a reservation. We will hold back seats in every screening, so even without a reservation you will have the opportunity to line up for a seat, just as before. Walk up passholders will be admitted as space allows.
Additionally, there will be opportunities for passholders to get tickets on-site directly with the box office, on top of the reservations made in the exclusive early windows.
Final Girls who would like to attend screenings they do not have a reservation for can do so by going to the box office at any time. If the screening has availability, the ticket will be added to your pass and you can go to the head of the passholder and ticketholder line. If the screening is sold out, you can go to the head of the passholder walk-up line to be admitted as space permits.
Camper Passholders who would like to attend screenings they do not have a reservation for can go to the box office two hours before the screening’s start time and request a ticket to the film. If the screening has availability the screening ticket will be added to your pass, and you can go to the passholder and ticketholder line.
If the screening has no more availability, you can go to the passholder walk-up line to be admitted as space permits.
HOW WILL LINES AND THEATER LOAD-IN BE DIFFERENT THIS YEAR, WITH THE NEW HYBRID RSVP SYSTEM?
Final Girl Passholders who have RSVPed will be let into the theater first once doors open.
Next, we will let in Camper Passholders who have RSVPed and single ticket holders. All Passholders who have RSVPed and single ticket holders will have guaranteed entry to the screening, provided that they arrive 15 minutes prior to the screening start time.
Next, the Final Girl and Camper Passholder Walk-Up line will be let in as space allows. With Final Girls getting head of the line privileges.
If there are still seats open after our Passholder Walk-Up line is let in, we will let in the Rush Line, until the theater is full.
HOW CAN MY FRIEND ATTEND SCREENINGS WITH ME IF THEY DON’T HAVE A PASS?
We anticipate tickets for many screenings will be extremely limited as passholder reservations will be prioritized. So we can’t promise that tickets or reservations will be available for screenings you’d want to see together if you don’t have the same pass and reserve at the same time.
I’M A FINAL GIRL, DO I STILL NEED TO RSVP FOR THE SCREENINGS I WANT TO SEE?
Yes! While your Final Girl Pass grants you skip-the-line access to any screenings you want to see, you will still need to RSVP in order to guarantee your seat. If you’re having trouble RSVPing for particular screenings, please reach out to ticketing@overlookfilmfest.com, so we can help you out. You can also visit the Box Office while onsite at the festival at Canal Place.
If you decide to go to a screening on a whim (without RSVPing), no worries! Your Final Girl Pass puts you at the front of the Passholder Walk-Up line and you will be let in as space allows.
I BOUGHT MULTIPLE PASSES ON MY ACCOUNT, HOW DO I MAKE MULTIPLE RESERVATIONS?
Benefits will apply per pass on your account. For example, 2 Camper Passes on your account will grant you 8 reservations per pass (16 total).
However, we recommend you make your own reservations, and transfer all passes to their owners to do the same, to guarantee you both see the movies you want to see. And that way, important communications (like urgent updates or balloting emails, for example!) can go directly to your guests.
To transfer a pass:
- Start by logging into your eventive account using the email you used for purchase
- Navigate to the My Passes section from the left hand menu (you should see all your passes here)
- Select the Manage button with the gear icon next to the pass you wish to transfer
- Select Transfer Pass and enter your guest’s email
- Your guest will then need to accept the transfer via email and create their own Eventive account

I CHANGED MY MIND, HOW DO I SWITCH MY RESERVATION?
No problem! You can cancel your tickets at any time, which will open up your reservation to book something new.
- Start by logging into your eventive account
- Navigate to the My Tickets section from the left hand menu (you should see all your reservations here)
- Select the Manage button with the gear icon next to the ticket you wish to cancel
- Select Cancel Tickets and follow the prompts
